Justa M. Fuentes 83 passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2012 at Bishop McCarthy Residence. Born in San German, Puerto Rico to the late Ramon Ortiz and the late Dominga Menendes. She moved to the mainland with her first husband, the late Jose Velez in 1968.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed shopping, traveling, going to church and being with her family. She is predeceased by her husband Catalino Fuentes, her sister, Ernestina Ortiz, brother, Adrian Ortiz, her son, Ramon A. Velez, Sr., and grandson, Daniel Velez.
She is survived by her four sons, Jose B. Velez of Vineland, NJ, Santos L. Velez, Sr., of Camden, NJ, Roberto Velez and David O. Velez of Albuquerque, N.M., daughters in-laws, Nilda, Carmen, Angelica and Lucy, grandchildren, Debra, Mary, Lissa, Santos, Jr., Debbie, Diamaris, Jose (Pito), Lissy, Mari, Maritza, Ramon, Jr., Jose (Che), David, Beatriz, Jessica and Brenda.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 12noon at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery. Friends will be received on Friday morning from 10am to 12noon at the funeral home.
