Marcia (Green) D'Ippolito, 74 of Vineland, died Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the SJ Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family. Born in Vineland, she was a lifelong resident and a graduate of Vineland High School, Class of 1956.
Marcia was employed at the Vineland Developmental Center as a supervisor and retired in 1999. She enjoyed crocheting, racing cars especially drag racing, going to the movies and loved cats. Most of all she enjoyed being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by:
3 sons: Michael Urgo and wife Darlene of Vineland
Thomas Urgo and wife Jeanette of Vineland
Don Urgo and wife Tina of Pitman, NJ
6 grandchildren: Michael, Moriah, Don, Dane, Thomas, and McKenzie
Former husband and best friend, Tom Urgo of Vineland
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30am at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery, Millville. Friends will be received on Saturday morning from 9:30am to 10:30am at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Stephen's Parish, 6306 Browning Rd. Pennsauken, NJ 08109.
