Luz Nereida Colon, 56 of Vineland, died Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Mainland Division Atlanticare RMC, Pomona, NJ surrounded by her family. Born in Aibonito, Puerto Rico, she came to Vineland in 1959 and attended Vineland Public Schools.
Luz was a homemaker and she loved watching old time movies and listening to oldies, but most of all she enjoyed being with her grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents, 1 son, Omar Paul Colon and a sister, Lillian Colon.

3 sons: Gilbert and Joseph Colon both of Vineland
Michael Perez of Vineland
2 daughters: Leonides Colon of Vineland
Carmen Perez of Vineland
15 grandchildren
2 brothers: Angel Flores of Vineland
Jose Colon of Florida
3 sisters: Elsie Flores of Florida
Iraida Pereria of Vineland
Evelyn Pereria of NJ
A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11am at Divine Mercy Parish, 23 W. Chestnut Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 9:30am to 10:45am at the church. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
