Joshua David Romer, 37, of Vineland, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 14, 2012.
Joshua was born and raised in Vineland by his maternal grandparents, Betty Jane (Young) Morrison (deceased) and Roland Morrison Sr. Joshua was a 1996 graduate of Vineland High School and worked as an auto mechanic by trade. Josh was an avid sportsman with a passion for hunting and fishing. Joshua always had a precocious sense of humor. His true passion was his sons. He dedicated his life to his children. Joshua will be remembered as a devoted father, husband, brother, nephew and friend.
Joshua is survived by his wife, Dana (Clifford) Romer, sons; Hunter Romer, and Gunner Romer and step-daughter, Melyssa Tsangaris. Grandfather, Roland Morrison, Sr., brothers: Jay Romer of Millville, and Adam Romer of Vineland. Uncle: Roland Morrison, Jr. and wife Dianna of Deerfield Twp., NJ. An extended loving, dedicated and devoted Grant Avenue Family, In-laws: Dennis and Janet (Ricci) Clifford, plus many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mother, Diana (Morrison) Romer and companion Woody Coomer, Father: Jay Romer Sr. and wife, Janet (Crawford) Romer.
Joshua you will be missed by all, but we know you are with your Mom Mom now.
Preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Betty Jane (Young) Morrison of Vineland; and paternal grandfather, George Romer of Laurel Lake.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 8:30pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Friends will be received on Thursday evening from 6pm to 9pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hunter & Gunner Romer c/o Custodial Account at The Bank of America.
