Obituary of Anthony Cecero

Anthony Cecero, Jr., beloved husband and best friend of Rita (Fiocchi) Cecero for 59 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for and loved, on January 11, 2013.
Anthony a lifelong Vineland resident joined the NJ National Guard 102/50th Armor in 1950 and served for 40 years. Known as "Cheech" among his fellow Guardsmen, he was a diesel technician, shop chief and Master Sergeant at the Vineland Armory.
Tony enjoyed hunting, trout fishing, traveling, was an avid carpenter, woodworker and loved to play the guitar. Tony also enjoyed the many travels he had taken with his wife and family to Italy and camping trips in the U.S.
He is predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Angelina (Silvester) Cecero, siblings, John and Albert Cecero, Madeline Polidore, Mary Ciccio, Rose Durham, Minnie Yeager, Phyliss Yeager, Sonny Cinmarosi, Lucy Abruzzo, and extended family, James, August and Adeline Fiocchi.
He is survived by his wife, sons Glenn and Wayne Cecero, daughter and son-in-law, Toni and Steven Anderson, grandchildren, Kristian and Stevi Anderson,
brother-in-law and dear friend, Joseph Fiocchi and wife Elaine, sisters-in-law, Lynne Fiocchi, Charlotte Brock, Mary and Judith Cecero and many nieces and nephews and his loyal dog, Bella.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 10:30am at the Divine Mercy Parish, Vineland. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Victories Cemetery, Landisville. Friends will be received on Thursday evening from 6pm to 8pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland and again on Friday from 9am to 10:15am at the CHURCH. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Anthony can be made to the Padre Pio Shrine, P.O. Box 203 Landisville, NJ 08326.
