Roland "Ron" Capps, 69 of Vineland, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the SJ Regional Medical Center. Born in Jacksonville, Alabama, he moved to the Vineland area in 1950.
Ron served in the United States Airforce and did two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was employed at Wheaton Glass Co., Sears and Pathmark in security. He also worked for Wawa, delivered films for Frank's Movie Theaters.
Ron enjoyed watching movies and sports, especially the Phillies, Eagles and flyers. He mostly enjoyed being with his family.
He is predeceased by his parents, Junius E. and Mae (Pierce) Capps, a grandson, Tyler House, sister, Deccie A. Bryte, and brother-in-law, Charles Bryte, 2 brothers, Robert E. and Michael W. Capps.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kimberly (English) Capps of Millville

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11am at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Friends will be received on Saturday from 9am to 11am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
