Obituary of Margaret Solowey

Margaret "Mom-Mom" Solowey, 63 of Franklinville, NJ died Friday, May 17, 2013 at her daughter's home. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, she was a resident of Franklin Township area for over 42 years.
She was employed at Southern New Jersey Steel Company as a secretary and also worked for United Van Lines, Tropicana Casino and Grays Ferry Brick Yard.
Marge enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially her 5 grandchildren. She took great pleasure in watching their sporting events and often ended up being the score keeper for baseball games. Marge was very active in the Delsea Knights Football Team and the Franklin Township Little League. She was known as "Mom-Mom" to everyone and was their "Biggest Fan". She was a very avid craft maker by crocheting blankets for everyone in the family and needlepointing. Cooking and gardening was her other hobby that brought family together. She took great joy in going to Sea Isle City every year for a family vacation.
She is survived by her children, Paul Solowey (Elizabeth), Nicolle Nieves (Joaquin) and Stephanie Solowey, her 5 grandchildren, Ashli, PJ, Patton, Parker and Noah, her sister, Gina Thornton of Denver Colorado.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 7:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Friends will be received on Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
