Obituary of Louis R Gabriele, III

Louis R. Gabriele, age 82, of Vineland went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer.

Lou was born in Vineland to the late Louis and Doris (Eckbold) Gabriele Jr. Lou was predeceased by his sisters-in-law, Barbara Curlett, Ida May Black, and Margaret Creelman; brother-in-law, Heb Black and niece, Kimberly Carluzzo.

Lou farmed on the family farm for most of his life and then worked doing tile and terrazzo flooring. Lou was a member of the North Italy Benevolent Association. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, going on vacations with his family, making puzzles, and playing cards with friends.

Lou is survived by his lovely wife of 54 years, Rose Gabriele; daughter, Jennifer Allonardo; grandchildren, Andrew, Ariel, and Alec (Ashley) Allonardo; sister, Carole (John) Cerana; brother, Ronald (Cathy) Gabrielle; brothers-in-law; Albert Creelman and Jack Curlett and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends will be received on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland and again on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 10am to 11am followed by a service at 11am at Chestnut Assembly of God Church, 2554 E. Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Lou's name to a charity of one's choice.
