Obituary of William W. Watson

William (Billy) W. Watson Jr. Age 54, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, September 21, 2023.

Billy was born on April 18, 1969 in Vineland, New Jersey, to Mae Hart and William Watson Sr. Billy lived his entire life in Vineland, New Jersey. He was a proud graduate of Vineland High School graduating class of 1987. After high school Billy worked at Sands Casino in Atlantic City on the hard count team until Sands closed in 2006.

Anxious to provide for his family, he achieved his vo-tech license as a certified electrician. His accomplishments allowed him to work as a laborer for Local 77 until his passing.

Billy was a devoted family man and believed, family first at any cost. He had open doors at his home that he created with his beautiful wife. Billy spent his time sharing his happiness for others by preparing food on his grill and smoker. One of his beloved passions was watching his Dallas Cowboys on any given Sunday, but his true passion was spending time with his children and grandchildren. His beautiful smile and calm demeanor were recognized by all that knew him.

Billy was predeceased by his mother, Mae Hart; brother, Darren Watson; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Geraldine Morgan. His heart and soul will forever remain with his beloved wife, Norma Watson of Vineland, New Jersey; children, Tory W. Watson, Vaughn W. Watson and Brooke Gray all of Vineland, New Jersey; grandchildren, Jaidah Linn Torres, Jessianie Rodriguez, Tory Willow Watson and Tristan Webster Watson; siblings, Glendon Watson and Tammy (Watson) Brown; nephews, Deshawn Downing, Spencer Brown Jr. and Zeem Watson; brother-in-law, Robert Delgado wife Brenda Delgado, brother-in-law, Spencer Brown, sister-in-law, Lilliam Delgado. Billy will also be missed by a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm followed by a service from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland NJ 08361. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 741 E. Walnut Road, Vineland NJ 08360.
