Obituary of Joseph F. Cappuccio
Joseph F. Cappuccio, "POP" 92, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 5, 2024. Joseph lived a full and vibrant life from beginning to end and touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He was born on August 6, 1931 to John and Laura Cappuccio in Hammonton, NJ.
Joseph enlisted in the United States Air Force Division right out of high school. He always aimed high and achieved every goal he set his sights on. After leaving the Army Joseph was united in holy matrimony to his love, Rosemary Bruno where he built a beautiful home and raised a family. Joseph had a wide range of gifts, skills, and acumens. He started a Pasta Manufacturing business by his bootstraps and turned it into a successful operation eventually selling to Hanover Brands in Pennsylvania. "He knew there was a lot of dough to be made."
Joseph was known to work from sun up to sun down, even after he retired, taking on chef duties at the Maplewood Restaurant Atco, home baking, master gardening, and discovered a hidden talent of painting landscapes, portraits and animals in his mid-80's creating a gallery worth of gems.
Joseph was survived by his two children, Alison Trovarelli and Steven Cappuccio; his grandsons, Anthony and Vincent Trovarelli, and his beloved dog, Bella.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 10am to 11:30am, followed by funeral services at 11:30am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S Lincoln Ave, Vineland NJ. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 741 E Walnut Rd Vineland NJ.
