Obituary of Carol A. Heney

Carol Ann Heney (October 31, 1955 - April 16, 2024)

Carol Heney, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on April 16th at the age of 68. Born on Halloween in Denver, Colorado, she lived a full and vibrant life, touching the hearts of all who knew her.

Carol is predeceased by her parents, Richard and Margaret Platz. She is survived by her husband, John Weiner; her children, Jason (and wife Michelle), Matt (and wife Amanda), Lisa Brody (and husband Taylor), their father, Lysle; her stepson, Joe; and her grandchildren, Caitlyn, Erin, and Cadence; and sisters Jan Dunn (and husband Rich) and Lori Stolarick (and husband Joe); and nephews, Jonathan and Kevin.

Carol was a nurse in Millville and Vineland for over 30 years, first with Dr. Henderson and Dr. Patel at Holly City Pediatrics, and also at Vineland Gynecology Associates, where she retired in 2022.

As a Lifetime Member of Cumberland Players and a founder and Lifetime Member of the Off Broad Street Players, Carol was a passionate member of the local theater community in Vineland and Millville. She was also a longtime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Millville, NJ.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, who will cherish memories of her kindness, generosity, beautiful singing voice, sense of humor, and warm spirit.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 20th from 10:00am until 11:30am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 301 N. 3rd Street in Millville. A funeral service will follow at 11:30am at the church. Burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, or the charity or organization of your choice in her name.
