Obituary of Dayshaun Brown
Dayshaun Brown, 19, gained his angel wings on June 14th, 2024. Born on August 22nd, 2004, in Atlantic City to Natalie Villafuerte and Kurtis Brown, he was raised most of his life in Minotola, where he graduated from Buena Regional High School in 2023.
Some of his passions were playing football all the way through high school, staying active in sports, working out, playing video games, and spending time with his best friends.
Dayshaun always aspired to become a better version of himself and went on to join the National Guard, graduating in February 2024. He was accepted to the NJ Correction Academy and was on his way to meet his next goal of becoming a correctional officer starting in September.
He was a very focused, respectful, self-disciplined, kind, inspiring and, most importantly, humble young man who will be deeply missed by anyone who was blessed to have had him as a part of their lives.
Dayshaun is survived by his parents, Natalie Villafuerte and Kurtis Brown; his maternal grandparents, Eddy Villafuerte and Norma Torres; his paternal grandparents, Kurtis Brown, Sr. and Marilyn Collins; his siblings, Kamarah, Makayla; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will carry him in their hearts forever. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Yvette Brown
