Obituary of Aida C. Rosa
Aida Cristina Rosa, 71, of Vineland, NJ entered into her everlasting peace on August 16, 2024 where she will rest until the day of resurrection. Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to parents, Adrian Acosta and Catalina Colon, Aida is remembered most for her immense love of God and her family.
Aida was a selfless woman and a dedicated wife to her late husband, Octavio Rosa. Together they raised their three daughters, Evelyn, Aida and Madelyn. She was a loving mother who devoted her life to nurturing her growing family.
Aida, was an extremely giving and generous person. She cared more for others than she did for herself, constantly sacrificing all that she had for those in need of a helping hand. Those who knew Aida, knew how much she enjoyed thrift shopping and finding a local yard sale. She loved seeking hidden treasures and would get so excited to show her family her latest finds. She also had a great love and passion for gardening. Her home both inside and out was filled with beautiful plants, flowers and trees. She would speak to her plants and shower them with love on a daily basis. In her travels, she would often bring back exotic plant to add to her collection.
Aida was also a longtime member of the Pan-American Seventh Day Adventist Church in Vineland, NJ. She was a woman of strong faith, who instilled the love of God into everyone she spoke with. She will always be remembered for being a Prayer Warrior. So much so, that she was often called upon by family to pray for them. She took her role of Prayer Warrior very seriously, and made sure her family/friends were always covered by the shield of God.
Aida's greatest role in life was that of a grandmother and great-grandmother. She cherished her time with each and every one of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, teaching them the word of God along the way. She lived for those precious moments and the sound of them calling her 'Mama' and 'Wela'. Her family and friends will always remember her laugh and her smile, her gentle hugs and warm love. She was the best wife, sister, mother and grandmother that anyone could ask for, her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.
