Obituary of Marlene G. Latourneau

Marlene Georgeanne Latourneau age 74 died peacefully at home with her husband and her kitties by her side on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. She was born on July 24, 1950 in Vineland, N.J. She attended Vineland Public Schools and graduated from Vineland High School in 1968. She graduated from Trenton State College in 1972 with a degree in Elementary Education. She received her Masters of Arts in Education from Glassboro State College. She taught in Downe Township Elementary school for 40 years.

She was an enthusiastic Knitter and Cross Stitcher. She enjoyed her many visits with her husband to Atlantic City. She always had a kind word for everyone and was ready to help everyone she met. She and her husband loved to travel to a variety of places. She liked to go fishing and going out to dinner. Marlene was an avid animal lover. She especially loved spending time with her kitties.

She was predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Gertrude T. Curlett. Marlene is survived by her husband, Skip Latourneau; her son, Samuel Avery Quinn and his wife Rebecca; son in law, Adam Latourneau and his wife Christine; six grandchildren, Lucas, Illyana, Addison, Madison, Gabrielle, and Dominic.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 8th, 2024 at 12pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 South Lincoln Avenue, Vineland, N.J. A visitation will take place from 11am to 12pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the South Jersey Animal Shelter, 1244 North Delsea Drive, Vineland, N.J. 08360.
