I have so many memories with Tony, being his sister-in-law we spent a lot of time together. Tony came to visit the campground we stayed at every year because he loved the waffle and ice cream they sold at the little ice cream shop. He could not wait each year to get one. He loved his sweets. We had a few desserts that were our favorites like pineapple upside down cake and apple turnovers. He would act like whatever dessert I baked was the most delicious thing he ever tasted. Once I made mashed potatoes and put sour cream in them. Tony hated sour cream. I told him after he ate them and he told me they were the best he ever had. He loved that story and most recently told the nurse what I did when I was visiting him in the hospital. For some reason we got talking about how he hated mayonnaise and he snuck that story in. Tony called me and my sister Jenn Sis. Hi sis!! would be the first thing he would say when he saw us. Always greeting us with his big smile, great laugh and a kiss. Tony’s birthday is 4 days before mine and I loved never letting him forget he was so much older than me. He would do anything in the world for my boys and I, and we will miss him very much. May you rest in peace my beloved brother-in-law. You will forever be in our hearts.

When I was younger, my school was hosting an event. We were asked to bring someone that inspired us, a person that we could write a paper about. Immediately, I thought about my Uncle Tony. As we sat and had breakfast together, I read him my paper and he had a smile that never left the cafeteria. He was someone I could always look up to and he was very proud to be my role model for the event. You could always talk to Tony about anything on your mind and he would have an open ear or good advice to follow. I'll always remember the laughs we shared and the circus peanuts every Christmas. He taught me to box and to always remember that family is close by if ever needed. I'll miss you and thank you for all the great memories, an inspired nephew.

To the Ponce family,
I would like to express my sincerest condolences and sympathy to all of you during this difficult time. When I heard of Tony's passing my heart was saddened. I will forever cherish the memories of times of my youth in his presence due to my friendship with his niece Lydia (Marisol). He was always full of laughter and good cheer. he will be missed. I pray the strength
and peace of God be with you all and may your memories bring you comfort.

Tony was the most amazing Dad to our 3 kids. One by one they changed his life and made him into a big softy, and if you knew Tony before kids that was a big task. They had him completely wrapped around their finger. He was the most generous person and loved us with his entire heart.

I remember when I first started coming around and attending family functions feeling very shy, but Tony always helped make me feel at ease. We made an instant connection when he learned I was originally from the city of Trenton. He’d spend time chatting with me and shared many stories of his past/present life. He would also never forget to tell me how much of a great guy Ryan is which was proven to be correct. Watching Tony care about those around him and especially his children was heartwarming. He was such a proud father. Family functions will never be the same. May he watch over us always and never be forgotten.

Him and his circus peanuts, him always asking me to grab him a soda out of the fridge. He always called me “pretty boy” in his own language. I don't wanna say it because I don't know how to spell it. I loved how much he cared about me, my sister and my parents. Treated us all equally and was never mad at us ever. My favorite thing about him was that he always had a smile on his face. Never in a bad mood.

Tony treated like we were family from day one. Whether it was, "Whats up Brother-in-Law?" everytime we saw each other or we were always talking about Natalia, Mia or Gio. There are no words for how much you'll be missed. Rest easy and look over thos beautiful kids.

Brother-in-law.... I can't even begin to tell you how deeply saddened the entire family is over your sudden death. You were always there to lend a helping hand, gave words of encouragement to my kids their whole lives, gave us all so many wonderful + funny memories. We all miss you so much already and will forever carry you in our hearts. I hope you're getting all the circus peanuts, chicken flancheny (lol) and crabs you want and reunited with your loved ones. RIP <3
