William C. Nicoll, Jr., 88 of Vineland, NJ, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 after a lengthy illness. Born in Camden, NJ on December 13, 1935 to the late William C. Nicoll, Sr. (Aurelia) and Kathryn McLemore (Tommie). Bill was a credit manager starting with Bud Metal in Wilmington, DE and then moved to Millville, NJ working for Kane Steel. He retired after working for Re-Steel Supply in Eddystone, PA. Bill served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1956. He was at Fort Benning, GA when the Korean War ended and then he was stationed in Berlin, Germany. He was a member of Train Collectors Association and Jersey Sky Devils. He enjoyed fishing, sailing, golf, biking and was an avid reader. Bill also enjoyed watching the military history channel and travels to Vermont, Cape Cod and Bermuda. Bill is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carol (Goodwin); son, Tony (Tohni); brothers, Fred (Jerilyn) and David; sister, Beth and many nieces and nephews. He loved his many cats over the years, Lucky, Duncan, Mactavish, Dusty and Daisy. The family would like to thank the Bayada Staff for helping with Bill's care. A special Thanks to David and Nancy. Private graveside services will be held at the Cumberland County Veterans Cemetery. Donations may be made to the South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
