Obituary of Robert A. Abele

Robert A. Abele (Bob), 77, of Millville, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 17, 2024 after an extended illness. Bob worked for Bell Telephone of Philadelphia for 30 years. He was gifted with the ability to fix things. Some of his many talents included carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical. There wasn't anything Bob could not do. He enjoyed fishing, going to the casino and he loved playing board games with his grandchildren and doing jigsaw puzzles. Bob was predeceased by his brothers, John Abele, Richard Abele and Harry Abele; his foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reginal Bennett. He is survived by his brother, Merrill Leslie Abele of Mantua NJ; companion, Cindi Abele; three sons, Robert Abele, Anthony Abele (Brenda) and Scott Abele; brother-in-law, Jim Reeves; sister-in-law, Tricia Sammons (John), six grandchildren, Alex, Olivia, Zane, Madison, Ryan and Bekah. As well as several nieces and nephews. As per Bob's wishes, his funeral services were private.
