Obituary of Frances Smarra

Frances Smarra, 69 of Vineland, died Friday, March 23, 2012 at the SJ Regional Medical Center, after an extended illness. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., she had moved to Newfield in 1984 and later to Vineland.
Frances was an LPN in the emergency room, having worked at the Millville, Bridgeton and Newcomb Hospitals, before working for SJ Regional Medical Center for over 40 years. She enjoyed anything electronic, camping in an RV, traveling across the country and loved her pets Coco and Casey, her two dogs.
She is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Caroline (Gersavi) Smarra.
She is survived by her friend, Nancy Conover of Vineland and many cousins.
Funeral services and burial will be held on Wednesday at 1pm at the Sacred Heart Cemetery Chapel, 741 E. Walnut Rd., Vineland. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Palliative Care, 2950 College, Suite 1F Vineland, NJ 08360 or SJH Hospicecare, P.O. Box 160 Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
