Obituary of Dennis J. Buglio

Our Lord has gained another angel, Dennis J. Buglio, 65, when he was called home to the Lord on March 5, 2014. Dennis lost his ongoing battle with heart disease at Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia, surrounded by those who loved him. Dennis was born in Vineland, NJ to the late Nunzio and Margaret (Borgo) Buglio and was a resident of Vineland all his life. He was a 1966 graduate of Vineland High School and received his Associates Degree in Business from Goldey-Beacom College in Delaware. He worked for 35 years in the insurance field as an Insurance Agent, Agency Manager, and Area Manager. Throughout his career with The Franklin Life Insurance Company and The American General Life Insurance Company, he earned many recognitions and awards including the prestigious Lifetime Service Award. Dennis was a Corvette enthusiast and owned different model Corvettes throughout his life, most notably his 1963 Split Window Coupe, LUV TOY. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family while hosting social gatherings, vacationing, playing cards, relaxing at the swimming pool, and going to car shows. Dennis cherished all his moments spent with his beloved wife, Betty, who was always at his side. Dennis will be greatly missed by his wife of 44 years; Betty (Polhamus) Buglio, Daughter and Son-in-law; Michelle and Carmen Petronglo, III, Son and Daughter-in-law; Brian and Dawn (D'Agostino) Buglio, Grandchildren; Carmine, Annabella, Brianna and Gabriella Petronglo, future Grandbaby Buglio, Mother-in-law; Marie Polhamus and many close friends. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his brother, John D. Buglio, Sr. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated for Dennis on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 10:30am at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Sacred Heart Church, Landis Avenue, Vineland. Dennis will be laid to rest in Siloam Cemetery on Valley Avenue in Vineland. Friends will be received on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, from 5pm-7pm and again on Monday at the church from 9:30am to 10:15am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Dennis' memory to Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, 1010 E. Landis Avenue, Vineland or Bishop McCarthy Residence, 1045 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland.
