I will never forget the kindness Mike showed me especially while Fred was sick. His words were meaningful and sincere. They got me through the turn and then onto the last nine. It seems like such an incredibly hard year...filled with loss, but one thing that I've learned through it all is that there are some men who would never want us to hold onto the sadness for too long. Mike was one of them. Fred, too. So, I'm going to joyfully throw out these words to you...his family and friends...that this woman is going to smile and embrace each day the way Mike would have. I might even wear a God-awful totally orange outfit just like him! I'm going to celebrate knowing this incredible human being. Take care of him, Lord.
