Obituary of Frank Ferrucci

Frank Ferrucci, 90, went home to be with his wife Madelyn and Jesus on July 18, 2014. A lifelong resident of Piney Hollow, Franklin Township, Frank was a farmer and nurseryman.
The son of Italian immigrants from Tufara, Italy, Frank was born on October 3, 1923 and raised on the family farm in Piney Hollow. He farmed vegetables until the 1950's when he and his brothers founded Ferrucci Brother's Nursery. Working the land, the farm and nursery brought him great joy and he treasured the relationships he built with the nursery's customers, vendors and employees.
Frank was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, crabbing and foraging for mushrooms. He also enjoyed watching the Eagles and Phillies, the Food Network, western movies, listening to country music, dining out and spending time with his family.
An avid square dancer, Frank and his wife Madelyn travelled across the United States attending square dance conventions. Early in his retirement Frank and Madelyn enjoyed visiting their vacation home in Hollywood, Florida.
Frank is predeceased by his beloved wife of 67 years Madelyn (Pagano); his parents, Michael and Concetta (Vitarelli) and his brothers Joseph, Louis and Anthony. He is survived by sisters Jennie (Geri) and Millie (DeSimone); sons; Michael Ferrucci of Springfield, Pa (Patricia), David Ferrucci of Franklin Township (Carolyn), grandsons; Frank (Theresa) and David Paul Ferrucci, granddaughters; Lori and Judy Ferrucci, and Sheryl Ferrucci Polischuk; great-granddaughter Lucy Polischuk, and great grandson Hawkin Slusarki.
His passing leaves a huge void in the lives of his family and friends.
A private visitation and funeral mass for close friends and family will be held on August 12, 2014 beginning at 10:00 am and a mass to follow at 11am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, Our Lady of Victories Church, Landisville, NJ. Interment immediately following at Our Lady of Victories Cemetery, Landisville. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
