Obituary of Carol Mascara

Carol Mascara (nee Bandos) 68, passed away peacefully September 17, 2014 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Darby, PA, Carol began her career at Villanova University where she was Secretary to the Dean of Engineering. She then moved on to Rice, Unruh and Reynolds where she was the Administrative Assistant to the CEO. Upon retirement, she relocated to Williamstown, NJ to be closer to her family.
Carol loved vacationing in Sea Isle City where she would spend time with her brother, sister, nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. She had a team of fashionistas who bedazzled her daily while pretending to visit award winning restaurants serving all of her favorite foods. Carol enjoyed all things culinary: cooking, eating, entertaining and was always the life of the party.
Carol was loved and will greatly be missed by her beloved brother, Bob Bandos (Cathy) and sister, Kathleen Neri (Lawrence); her nieces and nephews, Michael Neri (Annette), Tracy Luciano (Emil), Jennifer Masucci (Benjamin), Jaclyn Glazewski (Richard), Timothy Bandos (Laura) and Robert Bandos (Jessica); grandnieces and grandnephews, Matthew and Justin Neri, Lena and Ava Luciano, Olivia and Thomas Masucci, Caden and Connor Glazewski and Adelyn Bandos. She is also survived by her best friend of 50 years, Jackie Culberson. She was predeceased by her mother, Josephine Bandos (Owens). To quote Dr. Seuss, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened".
Relatives & friends will be received on Monday morning from 9:00 to 9:45AM followed by her funeral liturgy at 10:00 AM at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Isidore the Farmer Roman Catholic Church, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland NJ, 08361. Interment will be private.
