Obituary of Thomas Edward Wilson

Thomas "Tom" Edward Wilson, 53, of Floral City, Florida (formally of Pennsauken and Dorothy, NJ) went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 27, 2014 in his Florida home. Tom was born on October 2, 1960 in Woodbury, NJ to Carmella (Wilson) Spagenberg and the late John J. Wilson. He attended Palmyra High School and was a member of the Black Watch Drum and Bugle Corp. in Willingboro, NJ. Tom continued on to serve in the US Navy on the US Carl Vincent aircraft carrier until 1982. He also served for an additional four years in the Navy Reserves.
Tom was a licensed HVAC mechanic and was skilled in all areas of construction. He was always available to help family and friends when needed. Thomas was a devoted son to his beloved mother whom he cherished dearly. His faith and love for God was evident in his life.
Thomas leaves behind his son, Chad Thomas Wilson of Hudson Falls, NY. He also leaves behind his mother, Carmella Spangenberg and her husband Clifford Spangenberg of Vineland, NJ and his three brothers; John of Corbin City, NJ, Anthony "Tony" of Newfield, NJ, and Michael of Pennsauken, NJ. Tom also leaves behind his sister-in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, John J. Wilson; his brother, James S. Wilson and his furry best friend, "Willie Wilson." Tom will be greatly missed and forever remembered for his loving heart and willingness to listen and help all those around him.
A greeting of family and friends is scheduled for Saturday, October 4th at 3:00pm followed by a Memorial Service at 4:30pm at Christ Community Church, 201 Salem Ave. Newfield, NJ. Arrangements are under the supervision of DeMarco- Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, NJ.
