Gumercindo Acosta Jr., 60 of Franklin Township, NJ passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 at his late residence.
Gumercindo was a self-employed mechanic who loved antique cars and corvettes. He was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico on August 12, 1954 and lived in New Jersey since the early age of 4.
Gumercindo enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and adored his children and grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his mother, Milagros Acosta; his father, Gumercindo Acosta; 1 sister, Carmen G. Acosta and 1 brother, Moises Acosta.
Survived by his companion, Linda Gonzalez
5 Children; Emilio Acosta, Daniel Acosta, Yesica Acosta,
Melinda Ramirez Matute and Ramona Acosta
4 sisters; Carmen M. Acosta, Luz E. Borrero, Miriam Mercado, Yvette Fox
1 brother; Efrain Acosta
9 grandchildren and 20 nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 7:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
