Obituary of Nellie Parastino

Nellie (Ripoli) Parastino, 87 of Vineland, quietly passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014. Born in Vandergrift, Pa. she was a resident of Vineland since 1951. Nellie was a graduate of Bridgeton High School, Class of 1945. She worked at Owens Illinois Glass Company until her retirement. Nellie and her husband owned and operated Andy's Body Shop in Vineland on Oak Road for 30 years. She was a member of the Fireman Company #1, the Women's Auxillary and Christ The Good Shepherd Parish, St. Isidore's Church. Nellie enjoyed roller skating and bowling in her early years; reading, Polka dancing, traveling, dining out with her sisters and spending time with family every Sunday. She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Carmella (Polof) Ripoli; her husband, Andy Parastino and 1 sister, Rose Shone. She is survived by 3 daughters; Judy Bonato (John), Andrea Williams and companion, Frank Frie and Nancy Hiles (Jerry); 5 grandchildren, Valerie Gouse, Kim Bonato, Ken Williams, Jillian and Katrina Hiles; 2 sisters, Julia Ripoli and Terry Butler. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday at 10am at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Isidore's Church, Vineland. Nellie will be entombed at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland and again on Thursday morning at the CHURCH from 9am to 9:45am.
