Obituary of Luis A. Rodriguez

Luis Armando Rodriguez, 41, of Vineland NJ passed away on January 12, 2015 after a long, courageous fight with brain cancer. Luis is survived by his wife, Echnamy Coss-Rodriguez; children, Jamaraly Rodriguez and Jailyn Rodriguez of Florida, Mariah Rosa, Damien Rodriguez, Meilani Rodriguez and Jaycion Rodriguez of Vineland; his mother, Juana Arroyo of New York; brother, Jose Rodriguez of New York; uncle, Jose Canico Rodriguez and aunts, Arlene Rodriguez of New York and Maria Idalia Rodriguez of Vineland. Luis was born on February 19, 1973 in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Juana Arroyo and Jose Alcides Rodriguez, who predeceased him. Luis lived in Brooklyn, NY and Smyrna, Delaware before moving to Vineland where he went to live closer to his grandmother, Maria Teresa Collazo, who predeceased him January 5, 2014. Luis remained in Vineland where he led a hard working career welding for Rudco Products Inc. Luis and Echnamy shared a beautiful life together with Mariah, Meilani, and Jaycion. Luis was very personable and outgoing; he enjoyed talking with others, whether they were a stranger or friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family, welding and working on cars. Having a genuine love for life and his family, Luis was passionate and tenacious when it came to both. Luis will forever be remembered for his strength and courage. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Family and friends will be received on Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm and again on Saturday morning from 9am to 11am at the funeral home.
