Geri Esposito Reale, 68 of Vineland, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015 after a long battle with cancer at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland, with her family at her side.
Geri was the Executive Director of the Cumberland County Women's Center for 30 plus years. Geri's passion was helping others. In late 70's and early 80's she started by talking to women on the phone from her home about domestic violence, when it was still taboo to talk about. She then started Cumberland County Women Center, a non-profit organization and built it from the ground up with the help of many. Countless numbers of women and children were helped with counseling, housing, and food. Her passion was exemplified through countless nights and weekends, which she never feared to help. Christmas-time was her upmost time to help others. Everyone she could help always had a beautiful Christmas.
