Obituary of Steven Moritz

Steven Moritz, Sr. of Winter Garden, Florida and formerly of Vineland, NJ, died suddenly while visiting in Newfield, NJ on January 28, 2015 at the age of 47. Born in Vineland, Steve worked for the family owned and operated business, M & S Food Processing Equipment, Vineland. He also was a volunteer firefighter from the age of 15 at the Forest Grove Fire Department. He was also a member of the Franklinville Fire Department and Ambulance Squad. Steve enjoyed outings and adventures and fun times with his loved ones. He was guaranteed to always make someone laugh. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking and was a certified scuba diver. Steve was predeceased by his father, Thomas Moritz, Sr.; brothers, Thomas, Jr., and Kenneth and sister, Donna. He is survived by his wife; Janet (Hammel) Moritz; his children; Emily, Valerie, Steven Jr., Katie and Thomas III, grandson; Jonathan, his mother; Emily Martine-Bohringer, brother; Michael, sister; Danielle and her husband Nicholas Leonard as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday evening at 7:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday at the funeral home from 6pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for his children.
