Obituary of Isabell Kalagian

Isabell (Moore) Baxter Kalagian, 83 of Vineland, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Bishop McCarthy Residence, Vineland surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ridley Park, Pa., Isabell was a resident of Vineland for 55 years. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Ridley Park, Pa. She was employed by Ace Glass in Vineland for over 30 years, eventually becoming the office manager. Isabell enjoyed playing golf and bridge. She was a referee for the girls basketball and volleyball games and was the first female referee for a male basketball game. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church where she was past president of St. Francis of Assisi P.T.A. and Grandparent Association, and Parish Church Council. She also taught CCD and was a member of the Troubadour Singing Group and was a Eucharistic Minister. Isabell was also a member of the Buena Vista Country Club. She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph Moore and Catherine (Gannon); her husbands, William J. Baxter and Seth Kalagian, 1 son, William J. Baxter, Jr., a brother, Joseph Moore and 3 sisters, Elizabeth Race, Catherine Cook and Margaret Johnson. Isabell is survived by 1 son, David Baxter and wife Sharon (Dauito) of Vineland; 1 daughter, Karen (Baxter) Riley and husband, Bill of N. Carolina, her grandchildren; Matthew Anthony Baxter (Ami Tharp) of Vineland, Colin Michael Baxter Riley, Meghan Riley and Shayna Riley all of N. Carolina; 1 brother, John Moore of Texas, 1 twin sister, Barbara Eppright and 1 sister, Monica Pinciotti both of PA., along with many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday at 10am at Divine Mercy Parish, St. Francis of Assisi Church, Vineland. Isabell will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Friday evening from 6pm to 9pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland and again on Saturday morning at THE CHURCH from 8am to 9:30am.
