Gary Allan Creamer, 68 of Millville, NJ passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at home. He was a graduate of Vineland High School, Class of 1965. Gary also graduated from the R.C.A. Technical Institute for Electronic Computer Systems, The U.S. Airforce Technical School for telephone switching equipment repairman. He served in the United States Airforce during the Vietnam Era.
Gary was loyal, trustworthy, organized, adventurous, gentle and committed. He was employed by Inspira Healthcare Network from July 13, 1981 till he retired May 16, 2005. On July 13, 1981 he was a maintenance expediter, on September 7th, 1986 he was promoted to maintenance and plant manager at Millville hospital and on January 17, 1999 was promoted to maintenance director and was a black seal engineer. Gary was previously employed by Owens Illinois Glass Company, Vineland as a machine set-up operator, Tri-City Alignment, Vineland as a mechanic and at United Rental-All, Vineland as a rental manager and later as a shop supervisor.
In his younger days he was a motorcyclist who liked to ride his "trike". Gary enjoyed wildlife and the outdoors, especially reptiles and amphibians and would at times travel to Pennsylvania and W. Virginia to catch rattlesnakes and copperheads with his childhood friend Curt Coucill. Gary was an avid pool player, competing locally and in Las Vegas. He was a devoted husband and enjoyed many outings with his soulmate, best friend and wife Marilyn.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Lugo) Creamer, stepson, Jonathan Cocchi, stepdaughter, Stephanie M. (Cocchi) McCann and her husband Will, sister, Gail (Creamer) Burke, nephews; Richard Burke and his children, Shane and Kyle, Darren Burke and his wife Heidi and their children Dylan and Christian, Jared Burke. Also Gary's caregiver, Lizbeth Lewis who cared for Gary with an abundance of love and compassion the past three years.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 7:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6pm to 8pm.
