Obituary of Marianne Cotto

Marianne (Gonzalez) Cotto, 63 years old, from Vineland passed away in her home on Monday, August 31st 2015. Born in Miami (Florida), Marianne had initially started working in the Vineland Developmental Center for 10 years, but was more popularly known as a Bus Driver for the Vineland Board of Transportation for over 30 years touching the hearts of elementary kids, high school students, special needs children, and even school sports teams. Some hobbies that she enjoyed included Bingo, Crocheting, Gardening, Dancing, and even Cooking. Family and friends were always gathering during their Sunday dinner tradition, summer barbeques, and various holiday parties with great food and drinks always ending with fond memories. Those who knew Marianne or ever visited also witnessed her deep love for all things Duck. On her spare time, Marianne volunteered countless hours, while her threes son were playing, with the City of Vineland South, East, North, and Babe Ruth Baseball Leagues displaying her major role in the community as a role model and a mentor for all. She could easily be found again cooking, preparing, and selling foods at each league's concession stand. Furthermore, Marianne even held the position of President for the North Vineland Little League for short period. Marianne is predeceased by both her parents, Mariano Gonzalez and Virginia Crespo, and loving brother, Victor M. Castro Jr. Marianne is survived by her three sons: Robert, Richard, and Ryan Cotto; four grandchildren: Tiffany, Xavier, Allan, and Aryanna; nephews: Jeffrey and Jeremy Castro & wife, Melinda; niece: Tina Garrett; ex-husband: Emilio Cotto. Along with many other family members living across the United States and even back in Puerto Rico. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12th 2015 at 12pm (Noon) in the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home located at 2755 South Lincoln Avenue in Vineland, NJ. The burial will be private. Family and friends may gather between 10am-12pm at the funeral home.
