Obituary of Donna Lynn Dozier

Donna Lynn Dozier, of Vineland, NJ, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Albert Einstein Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Donna was born January 11, 1969 to Bette S. Dozier and Donald Bennett, at Newcomb Hospital, in Vineland, NJ. Donna had a great life whom she shared with a host of brothers and sisters. Donna was a graduate of Wildwood High School. She loved sports, especially playing basketball and played volleyball on the beach in the summer time. Donna loved fishing and crabbing and doing jigsaw puzzles. Two of Donna's nicknames were "Rice" and "Ms. Bob Villa". She loved DIY, Overnight Construction Company and watching her favorite shows; NCIS, Criminal Minds and Matlock. Donna was employed by The Woodbine State School of Woodbine, NJ for over 24 years and loved her job and the clients that were in her care. Donna excelled in the field to a supervisor position while employed at The Woodbine State School. Donna cared for others. Without words she showed kindness to her nieces, nephews, cousins and others. While Donna did not have kids of her own, she mothered many children in the family as well as outside the family. Donna is survived by her mother, Bette S. Dozier-Saunders of Whitesboro, NJ.; her sisters, Marsha J. Davis of Cape May, NJ, Susan W. Singleton of Wildwood Crest, NJ (Herb), Denise J. Dozier of Vineland, NJ, Cornelia Cynthia Bennett of Robersonville, NC; brothers, Julius L. Dozier of East Orange, NJ, Joel K. Dozier of Whitesboro, NJ, Jules M. Dozier of Millville, NJ (Karen), Jerald L. Dozier of Huntsville, AL, Jauzell L. Dozier of Bridgeton, NJ (Cynthia), Jason L. Dozier of Woodbine, NJ (Mary) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Bennett and her step-father, Ronald Saunders. She will be loved and missed. A viewing for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 12pm to 1pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, NJ., followed by funeral services at 1:00 pm. Burial will be private.
