Obituary of Juan David Rodriquez

Juan "David" Rodriquez, 71 of Vineland died on July 27 at home surrounded by his family. Born in Adjuntas, PR, he moved to Vineland in 1956. He worked at Progresso Foods, Silverton Marine and retired from Post Marina Yacht. Later he worked for the Vineland Public Schools as a crossing guard at Elmer and 7th and also at West & Landis. His hobbies included weight lifting, listening to music, watching wrestling, baseball and politics. He is predeceased by his son Alexander Rodriquez and his father Ramon Rodriquez. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Carmencita Rodriquez of Vineland, one son David Rodriquez and Zoraiada Arce of Vineland. One grandson, Justin Rodriquez of Minotola, his mother, Nicolasa Aviles Rodriquez of PR. Three brothers, Rene Rodriquez of PR, Ramon Rodriquez and wife Betty, of Vineland and Israel Rodriquez of PA. Eight sisters, Luz Celenea Rodriquez, Iris Rodriquez, Virgen Rodriquez, Leisa Rodriquez, Aracelis Rodriquez, Elizabeth Rodriquez and Lissette Rodriquez. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 1 at 11:00AM at the DeMarco - Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave. Vineland. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends will be received on Tuesday evening from 6-8 and again Wednesday morning from 9-11 at the funeral home.
