Obituary of Karen Maccri

Karen (Cavaliero) Maccri, 71 of Vineland, NJ passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland after a hard fought battle with cancer. Karen was born in Bridgeton, NJ and was a graduate of Bridgeton High School, Class of 1962. She worked as a teacher's aide at Memorial School for 27 years. Prior to that, she worked at Major Clothing Co., in Bridgeton. Karen enjoyed going out to dinner with family and friends. She also enjoyed going to the casinos in Atlantic City and Las Vegas and traveling with her best friend, her husband Ron. Karen is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ron Maccri; one son, Ronald Maccri Jr and his fiancée, Kim Brodzik; grandchildren, Joey and Lauren Maccri and their mother, Ashley Maccri; other close relatives, Sharon and Sam Rosario, Jan and Dave Pustizzi, Marie and Joe Russo, Mike Maccri and companion Cindy Torelli of Vineland and Joe and Marla Maccri of Florida. Many relatives and friends that are too numerous to name. She was loved by everyone, all that met her were touched by her pure heart. Karen is predeceased by her brother, Frank Cavaliero; sister, Diane Bundy and parents, Hazel and Leon Bradway. Funeral services will be held on Thursday evening at 8pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Family and friends will be received on Thursday evening from 6pm to 9pm at the funeral home. Because of her love of animals and former pet, Torx, please make donations to the Cumberland Co.
