Obituary of Josephine Boniello

Josephine (Azeglio) Boniello, 95 of Vineland, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland surrounded by her family. Born in Vineland, she lived in Malaga and Florida with her late husband, Joseph. Josephine was employed at Model Blouse and Dale Fashions as a seamstress. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, vegetable and flower gardening. She was an active member of the Newfield Senior Citizens, past treasurer of the Fire Auxillary #3 of Forest Grove Fire Company and worked the chicken BBQ for many years. She was an active member of St. Rose of Lima Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. Josephine was known for exchanging the roses for beads for family’s rosaries as a keepsake for their loved ones. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph “Big Daddy” Boniello; a son, Joseph Boniello; brothers, John and Peter Azeglio and sister, Minnie D’Agostino. Josephine is survived by her son, Patrick Boniello and wife Diane (Asselta) of Newfield; her daughter, Jean Messina of Vineland; daughter-in-law, Joyce Boniello of Cedarville, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Josephine will be laid to rest at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local charity of one’s choice.
