Obituary of Johnny A. Laboy

Johnny Albert Laboy, Sr., age 42 of Vineland NJ was called home June 1, 2016 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Born in Vineland, he was employed as a counselor at First Step in Bridgeton, NJ and at Maryville Impatient Rehabilitation and was a student at Cumberland County College. Johnny was a Lover, he never left anyone behind. He started his life down a winding road but with the help of the Narcotics Anonymous family he learned how to enjoy life and live "beyond his wildest dreams". He dedicated his life to helping others, even in his passing, he has continued to inspire others. Johnny lived every moment of his life doing the things he loved with the people he loved. He was part of many families and had a chair at everyone's dinner table. Johnny was a large man with a gentle soul who will be missed by everyone. He is predeceased by his step father, Manuel Matias. Johnny is survived by his mother, Betsy Matias; his fathers, Hipolito Laboy and Jeremiah Baez Sr. He will be deeply missed by his children and their mothers; Johnny Laboy Jr (Sandra Otero), Precious Laboy and Christian Laboy (Debra Harker) and Raina Laboy (Michelle Kashouty). Johnny will also be missed by his three handsome grandsons and siblings, Betsy Laboy, Margarita Laboy, Marisol Baez, Eliana Baez, and Jeremiah Baez Jr. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Johnny will be laid to rest at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Thursday evening from 6pm to 9pm and again on Friday morning from 10am to 11am at the funeral home.
