Claribel Hernandez Martinez, 50 of Vineland, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Bishop McCarthy Residence, Vineland, from multiple sclerosis. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Claribel was a resident of Vineland since 1988.
She graduated from high school in 1984 and will be wearing her favorite dress that she wore to her graduation.
Claribel worked for Doctor Harvey's office in Vineland as a secretary for 5 years and enjoyed dancing, going to the beach, playing volleyball, traveling and most of all, being with her family.
She is survived by her parents, Herminio and Carmen M. (Martinez) Hernandez of Vineland; daughter, Gabrielle Cruz of Vineland; 2 brothers, Edwin Hernandez of VA and Ervin Hernandez of Vineland; and 1 grandchild, Anthony Cruz of Vineland.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Claribel will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Monday evening from 6pm to 8pm and again on Tuesday morning from 10am to 11am at the funeral home.
