To the Finger family,
Mr. Finger was a very special person in the course of my life. He was my first therapist in 1981 when I was 18 and he helped save me at a time of crisis. He was the first person I ever felt comfortable confiding many things to from my tormented mind. I was able to find myself thanks to him and go on to college.
It's October 2024 as I write this in memory. I'm so saddened to learn that he is gone and I can't thank him.
I know grief never really goes away. My sympathies to you as you miss him.

Dear Judy and the Finger Family,
It is with great sadness that we extend these condolences as Brother James has now entered Omega Chapter. We, nonetheless, take solace in the fact that James had a wonderful life and family, and that he had friendships that extended for decades. Going forward, we will certainly miss what had become our annual reunion during A&T's Homecoming and reliving old stories and adventures which brought joy to our hearts.
May God now grant you comfort and "peace which surpasses all understanding"during the times which lie ahead. Our prayer is that James is now, and forever more, resting in the arms of our Holy Father Who Is In Heaven!
We Love You,
James and Bernice Yarborough

Our friendship grew over the years and it was a real honor to have known Jim. We had been together at many family holiday diners which provide future fond memories for me. His culinary skills were always special. One of his grandchildren recently said something very touching to me the other night which will always warm my heart. May your soul be with God in heaven, Bill
