Obituary of Angelina DeNicola

Angelina R. DeNicola passed away at home on March 16, 2017. Angelina was born July 10, 1932 in Downstown, NJ, the daughter of Albert and Rose Franchetta. She spent the majority of her years residing in NJ but spent 16 years of her life in Texas which she loved along with the Dallas Cowboys. She was an avid football fan and spent every Sunday watching her beloved team. Angelina enjoyed being with her family, listening to Frank Sinatra and watching her favorite program, Blue Bloods. She loved to travel and two of her favorite places to visit were Italy and Las Vegas. Her younger days were spent "down the shore" at Sea Isle City. She retired from Prudential Insurance Company after 20 years as a claims processor. She is predeceased by one daughter, Denise Oliva Croce and her brother, Albert Franchetta. Angelina is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Oliva) and her husband Michael Simmons and Cynthia and her husband Jeremy Mentzer; her grandchildren, Matthew Dondero and his wife, Stephanie; Justin Dondero and Nicole Dondero. She also had one great grandchild, Noah Garcia who was the light of her life; her brother, Joseph Franchetta; 3 nephews, 1 niece, 1 great niece, 2 great nephews, 2 great great nephews and 2 great great nieces. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday at 11am at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Isidore's Church, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland. Angelina will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Monday evening from 6pm to 8pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland and again on Tuesday morning from 10am to 10:45am at the CHURCH. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or CHOPS.
