Anna "Annina" Cincotti (nee Giovanniello), 100, longtime resident of Mays Landing, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 9, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Anna is best remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Affectionately called "Grandma" or "Ma" by many who knew her, Anna was happiest when she was surrounded by the love and warmth of her family and friends. Anna was also a devout Catholic and member of St. Vincent De Paul Church. She said daily prayers for her family, attended weekly mass, and was known for her love of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Festival, Hammonton, NJ, and her many years of walking in the procession on the Feast Day in honor of the Blessed Mother.
She also enjoyed cooking and preparing Sunday dinners for her family. She gave all of herself and more to her loved ones. She was a matriarch to her family and will be greatly missed. Anna was also known for her many years of work as a seamstress at David I. Greenberg.
Anna is predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Carmen; her son, Anthony; her parents, Vito and Aurora Giovanniello (nee Di Marco); her brothers, Arnold, Louis, and Vincent, and her sister, Carmella. She is survived by her six children, Antoinette (George); Anthony J.; Jiolio "Joe" (Jo Ann); Marlene; Josephine; Frances (Daniel), and her grandchildren; Nina (Thomas), Annette, George (Rhonda), Bernadette (Nicodemo), Jennifer, Michael, Nicholas, Carmen, and Joseph. Anna is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 12pm at St. Vincent De Paul Church, 5021 Harding Highway, Mays Landing, NJ, 08330. Anna will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing. Friends and family may gather between 10am to 11:45am at the Chapel of the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent De Paul Church. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
