Jose "Uncle Joe" Beltran Rivas, 66 of Vineland, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Cooper Medical Center, Camden.
Born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, Jose worked as a farm laborer for Castellini Farms, Vineland. He was a Phillies Fanatic, loved gardening and was a kind hearted and generous person.
He is predeceased by his parents, Pablo and Tomasa (Rivas) Beltran and a son, Jose "little man" Evans, 3 brothers, Carmelo, Francisco and Miguel Beltran-Rivas.
Survived by: daughter, Josephine Evans of Millville
Niece: Elizabeth Arce with whom he resided with, of Vineland
Step-children: David Evans and Ivory Evans both of Vineland
Angeline Canty of Millville
Siblings: Rosaura, Maria, Naty, Efigenia and Angelo Beltran-Rivas
Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends who loved him and who will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 7pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Friends will be received on Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home. Family requests that no flowers be sent.
